The 2026 John & Abigail Adams Benefit
An Evening for Equity: The Children’s Law Center of Massachusetts at the 2026 Adams Benefit
Partnering for Justice:
CLCM Executive Director, Jenny Chou and guests at the Adams Benefit, where the Boston legal community gathered to support essential legal aid for children across the Commonwealth.
April 11 - Members of the Children’s Law Center of Massachusetts team joined over a thousand leaders from Boston’s legal and business communities at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts for the annual John & Abigail Adams Benefit.
This year’s event was more than a gala; it was a powerful affirmation of our shared mission: ensuring that justice is accessible to every child, regardless of their zip code or income. Set against the backdrop of the MFA’s iconic galleries, the evening celebrated the role the legal profession plays in opening doors and creating pathways for the Commonwealth’s most vulnerable youth.
Why This Matters
The Adams Benefit is the premier fundraiser for the Boston Bar Foundation, which provides critical support to organizations like CLCM. The funds raised—surpassing one million dollars this year—directly fuel our ability to:
Advocate for students’ right to education.
Ensure access to legal protection for immigrant youth

As BBF President Megan Gates noted during the program, justice is something people must be able to actually access. For the children we represent, that access starts with the zealous advocacy of our attorneys.
We were particularly moved by the presentation of the Richard A. Soden Public Service Award to Damon Hart, whose words echoed our daily commitment: "The law is not just what we do; it’s what we can do for others."
We are deeply grateful to the Boston Bar Foundation and the legal community for their unwavering support. Together, we are actively building a more equitable system for the next generation.
