Children's Law Center of Massachusetts Receives Community Justice Award

At the Youth Advocacy Foundation 25th Anniversary Spring Celebration

Executive Director Jenny Chou accepting the award

May 15, 2026 - The Children's Law Center of Massachusetts was honored with the Community Justice Award at the Youth Advocacy Foundation's 25th Anniversary Spring Celebration — a recognition of the vital role Children's Law Center of Massachusetts played in the founding of YAF and the EdLaw Project and in advancing justice for children, youth, and families across the Commonwealth over the past 25 years.

Executive Director Jenny Chou accepted the award on behalf of the organization, joined on stage by members of the Children's Law Center of Massachusetts team.

The Youth Advocacy Foundation and the EdLaw Project have been a steadfast partner in the fight for opportunity and equal justice for young people across Massachusetts for a quarter century. This award reflects not only the depth of that partnership, but the shared belief that has always driven both organizations forward — that every young person in Massachusetts deserves a fair chance and a powerful advocate in their corner.

As Children's Law Center of Massachusetts approaches its own 50th anniversary in 2027, this recognition carries special meaning. It is a reminder of how far the work has come, and of the profound responsibility that lies ahead.
